1. with Putty and Pagent connect with SSH key - load the private key into the connection, add tunnels (Connection → SSH → Tunnels, destination: localhost:####)
2. on Hadoop server - /home/username
3. to get to HDFS: commands

    hdfs dfs -command

     hdfs dfs -ls

   • to get a file from HDFS to local file system use <b>get</b>
